How Seed keeps your data secure
Field-level encryption, TLS in transit, database-enforced per-user isolation, and an AI that never trains on your data.
Seed handles the most sensitive data most people have. Privacy is treated as a core principle, not a feature.
How your data is protected
- Personal information is encrypted at the field level using AES-256.
- All data in transit is protected with TLS.
- Per-user data isolation is enforced at the database level, so each user can only reach their own data. This is not something the application layer can bypass.
- Infrastructure is enterprise-grade cloud with DDoS protection, automated backups, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Multi-factor authentication is supported, including authenticator apps, SMS codes, and biometric authentication.
Commitments
- Seed never stores your bank credentials.
- Seed does not sell your data.
- Seed cannot move your money. The connection is read-only.
- You control your data, including deleting it.
Compliance
Seed implements controls aligned with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, both currently in progress, and is GDPR and CCPA compliant today.
Gardener never trains on your data
When you ask Gardener a question, your data is retrieved from your private account to answer it, then discarded. It is never used to train AI models, never stored by the AI provider, and never shared.
