Keeping your account secure
Four habits that matter more than everything else combined.
Use a strong, unique password
Do not reuse a password from anywhere else. A password manager makes this effortless, and Seed supports your device's autofill on both iOS and Android.
Enable multi-factor authentication
MFA means a stolen password on its own is not enough. Seed supports authenticator apps, SMS codes, and biometric authentication.
Keep your software updated
Most real-world compromises use a known bug that a patch already fixed. Keep the app and your operating system current.
Monitor your accounts
Leave the transaction alerts on. A large-transaction or duplicate-charge alert is often the first sign that something is wrong, and Seed will surface it before your bank statement does.
Seed will never ask for your bank password
Nobody from Seed will ever email, text, or call you asking for your bank credentials, your Seed password, or a verification code. If someone does, it is not us.
